It's Friday night y'all - That awesome time when the realisation sinks in that the working week is done and the weekend stretches out ahead with endless possibilities. Well, usually anyway.
This Friday night I've got a sick wife to look after and the prospect of a weekend full of more of the same. It's ok though, she'd do the same for me.
We went to her mum's for dinner tonight and half way through Faith started feeling sick. We left to come home and she's all tucked up in bed now. Sleeping.
That leaves me alone with the cats, bored and aimless...NOT!
I've got Lego to build!
That's right...Whilst Faith is sleeping soundly I've begun phase three, the final phase, of my VW build and whilst I'd rather Faith wasn't sick, the house is quiet and I can get to work. I have Florida Georgia Line playing softly in the background and I'm content.
I've got a new Lego set on the way, about 4 days away I think, and so it's a good chance to get this one complete. Friday night and Lego? Yep, I'll take it...Although I missed out on dessert at my mother in-laws to come home early which will probably haunt me for a few days, but what could I do? Faith has to come first. It was apple crumble...OK, I'll be honest, I got a takeaway container full! 😁 "Winning!"
