I don't see any male finches practically all summer. In the spring I saw and heard how beautifully they sing their trills. Sometimes they would go down to the grass and run. Apparently, then they urged their friends to meet. Now their singing is not heard. Only occasionally do I meet female finches. Unlike males, they have modest plumage, but at the same time they are beautiful.
Summer is already coming to an end and birds on the ground now receive food - seeds of plants. So this chaffinch has found something tasty for himself.
It holds a green berry unknown to me in its beak. Found myself some food.
It didn't work to get close. I was afraid to scare the bird away. But she was so enthusiastically looking for food for herself, although she moved quickly, but still it turned out to photograph a female . Although the shots are unsuccessful, the bird is clearly visible. In such a fast movement, it is difficult to catch the bird with the lens normally.
Here the beauty turned her back on me and I could admire the beautiful bright yellow stripe on the plumage in the center.
