When at last I was able to move I pushed the door to run away but I panicked when I saw that the door did not open no matter how much I pushed it, it did not have a latch or anything but it did not open. It had only been about 5 seconds and the scream was still heard, I felt a terrifying cold from my back that crossed my chest and covered my body while I hit the door, pushed and shouted, I thought I was going to die there. When at last I was able to open the door and run out I came to the patio and found all my cousins pale, some crying but I only felt a knot in my chest. That scream ceased to be heard, we peered into the corridor that led us to the magueyes and saw a white silhouette floating in the stream, following the water course. The grandfather told us later that this was La Llorona and that he had already seen and heard her. He warned us not to let him see us face to face or we could die of fright. We never played in that area again ... "
