Good morning dear friends! How are you all doing? Well, I'm still here in my bed although I had my breakfast. It is not that I am getting lazy. It is just because I have a lot of things in my mind because I will be busy in days to come. Well, I had always been busy at home doing household chores, what I am pertaining to are some other things outside home.

Anyway, too much of that already. Let's talk about one of my favorite hobbies which is journal making. I know I posted about journal making a couple of times. There was even a time when I got overly dramatic as I went over the pages from my past love life. Sike! If you had been following me for more than a year or look over my blog, you would understand what I was referring too.

I was able to acquire one of the journals from Starbucks but I decided to make it my planner. Unfortunately, the pandemic struck so what am I suppose to write then? Just the artworks I need to finish making and some other relevant stuff? I feel a little bit awful from this.

The notebook I used for this journal is a 3x6 inches travel notebook that I bought at Fullybooked. I was suppose to buy this expensive travel notebook online, but I changed my mind when I saw the price difference. I also love it as it comes with this matte textured plastic where I can put some small papers or stationeries inside it.

As always, I would try to fill the pages with anything that goes in my mind. I bought a couple of stationery particularly washi tapes online. As a thrifty artist, I always make sure that I would recycle some stuff at home and use it on almost everything, such as making this journal. And as always, I make sure that I could get inspiration and pages I could print

Hi! This is where I will put all the memorable things I experienced. Of course, aside that man is fallible, man is not perfect. We may experience a lot of things and process a lot of information, but we could never remember everything in our entire life. There would be a time when beautiful memories from the past would be forgotten.

At some point, I have thought of making it as a kpop journal but then I am really not much into kpop anymore. I just decided to fill some pages with kpop related content. Too much of something is not really cool anymore.
Some pages were allotted for some letters I received from my dear friends and relatives.

One of the pages was filled with gold poster color. I swear, I was so fascinated by it. If there would be different metallic poster colors, I would buy a set.

This page is dedicated to my good friend, Augelyn. We had been good friends because we became classmates in Professional Education in University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines.
She is such a sweetheart to hand me this letter and some sweets during the Christmas season. It was heartwarming.
Some of the pages on the other hand are pretty messy. I actually love making a journal with scrapbook style.

To mark some beautiful things that happened on my birthday, I made a spread for it. My birthday has already passed and I have decided to put some photos that were taken during my birthday. There were only few people who came because of the pandemic but that's totally fine.

On the other hand, this spread is dedicated for my very close friend, my cousin, Athena.

The rest of the spreads would be featured on the next blog. I hope you enjoyed! Thank you!

Lots of love,
Johanna Gail H. Tongco
