I'll get to the topic in the title but for anyone reading my post yesterday, it's confirmed: sometimes inability to focus and exhaustion are just the initial symptoms of getting sick. I've been in bed most of the day trying to go through it without pills, but eventually, I've thrown the towel and have taken something that seems to allow me to sit, hopefully long enough to write this post.
For anyone who commented on my post, later on, I'll get to them, hopefully. I'll probably do it in smaller blocks of time.
I've seen recently several posts discussing the descending price of HIVE and where TA says the movement will end.
I'll be honest with you. I believe this selloff that has been going on for some time for HIVE, way into 2023, is induced by people who want to take advantage of the BTC pump, ahead of the alts, and especially ahead of HIVE, which is a small cap alt.
Then, I expect at least some if not many of them to buy back at least the HIVE they sold, if not more. Others may not, but if you understand an ecosystem well, and its cycles, why not be around and repeat the same predictable operations? Unless they stopped believing in the future of Hive. In time, we had people that left for various reasons. And we are still around doing our thing.
Now, why does the price of HIVE move to a lower level instead of at least keeping its price, as it did at the end of 2023? It is a speculation on my part and not one I have facts on, but it appears to me one of two things (or both) happened:
I don't blame the sellers for the price fall. They have a plan and they apply it. I don't like to put pressure on HIVE on the way down for a higher profit, so I don't do it, but it's my choice. I have both bitcoin and HIVE so I'll be happy when both of them go up.
In the meantime, I do buy HIVE weekly with part of my author HBD rewards because that's my plan. Long term, HP is my main goal on Hive, so I see this as an opportunity to buy more HIVE, even if I don't have a HP goal this year and I don't power it up. Even though, theoretically, going to BTC, selling at the top, moving to HIVE, and waiting for the blow-off top, then selling to HBD could be more profitable. But the more steps a plan has, the higher the chances some things could go wrong. Especially during a bull market, in a hype stage with probably some wild roller coasters.
Either way, I don't see a reason to be concerned about the price. It does look like HIVE will explode in 2025 though, and not before.
