It's my 90th day on Steemit, also the first day of a new month, so I thought it's a good time to think and write about my beginnings on the platform.
To be perfectly honest, I'm motivated in writing the post by @dragosroua's #challenge30days, but the topic seems to have a great timing for me too.
Before Steemit, my only true interaction with the crypto world was represented by a small purchase of bitcoin a few years back. Not in 2009, but not in 2017 either.
I moved a little quicker with Steemit, because it involved something I discovered I like to do: write. I may not be the best writer, but consistency allowed me to make progress in an area which probably isn't among my natural strengths.
Even so, it took about a month to join (including the time to get the account approved), after reading the first email from @jongolson, who was at the time new to the platform and couldn't be more excited!
I immediately got hooked after joining, and it was a time when I thought I needed help to fight the steemit addiction, but that adjusted by itself after a while.

Going forward I think I should focus a bit on increasing that reputation score which I considered mainly irrelevant until now, and also pay close attention to the developments in the Steem ecosystem.
