Hoy les quiero hablar de este insecto, que parece una hoja, son de color verde que tiende a confundirse con una hoja por que se camuflajea, tiene algunas manchas de color marron en sus alas, estaba sentada afuera y ella callo encima de una caja por que les atrae la luz de los bombillos, posee tres pares de patas y dos antenas, su cabeza es independiente del torax, y no poseen pulmones y su respiracion es atravez de un espira'culos, se alimentas de las hojas de las plantas o hiervas, se encuentran en cualquier parte del mundo.

Este tipo de Saltamonte poseen papilas gustativas, donde pueden escojer la calidad de los alimento que se van acomer,las hembra pueden llegar a poner mas de 1000 huevo , son considerada plagas de los campos agricolas, por que pueden acabar una cosecha en segundos.
Cuando los Saltamontes concentran su energia no saben donde van aterrizar.
