Evidentemente pasamos más tiempo en nuestros trabajos que compartiendo con nuestras familias, incluso nuestros compañeros de trabajo se convierten en las personas con quienes compartimos más tiempo en nuestras vidas. A pesar de no ser personas con quienes elegimos estar o pasar nuestro mayor tiempo …
Esto es más evidente para las personas que trabajamos por guardias ya que pasamos días y noches enteras en nuestros trabajos, así que lo mejor es siempre llevar una sonrisa con nuestros compañeros y tratar de estar en armonía con ellos a pesar de que en ocasiones ocurran ciertas discordias.
Para esta semana me tocó realizar una pequeña decoración para mi compañera de trabajo debido a la celebración de su cumpleaños en el laboratorio.

For this week I had to make a small decoration for my co-worker due to the celebration of her birthday in the laboratory.
Luego de decidir donde se pondría la decoración, comencé a buscar los pequeños detalles que tenemos guardados de cumpleaños anteriores y otras celebraciones. Nuestro cartel de Feliz cumpleaños ha sido el mismo por mucho tiempo y siempre colocamos globos rosados así que para cambiar un poco lo que ya se esperaba decidí utilizar globos de color rojo.
Anteriormente teníamos una cortina de cumpleaños pero ya sabemos que son sumamente delicadas y se rompió, aún así esto no fue impedimento ya que se debe trabajar con lo que se tiene.
Comencé a pegar las letras del cartel, feliz en línea recta y el cumple lo quería en forma arqueada lo cual me llevó algo de tiempo que el arco quedara uniforme.
After deciding where the decoration would be put, I started looking for the small details that we have saved from previous birthdays and other celebrations. Our Happy Birthday poster has been the same for a long time and we always place pink balloons so to change a little what was already expected I decided to use red balloons.
Prevesly we had a birthday curtain but we already know that they are extremely delicate and it broke, even so this was not an impediment since you have to work with what you have.
I began to glue the letters of the poster, happy in a straight line and the birthday I wanted it in an arched shape which took me some time for the bow to be uniform.
Debo confesar que en ese momento sentí que se veía un poco triste solo con las letras y unos pocos globos así que decidí imprimir una foto graciosa de la cumpleañera y un cartel con su nombre.
Este día fue de suspenso ya que no sabíamos si nuestra jefa traería la torta así que decidí colocar una torta en el cartel por si acaso jajaja.
I must confess that at that moment I felt that she looked a little sad just with the letters and a few balloons so I decided to print a funny photo of the birthday girl and a poster with her name.
This day was on suspense since we didn't know if our boss would bring the cake so I decided to put a cake on the poster just in case hahaha.
Aún me parecía un poco simple pero lo que vale es el pequeño detalle y no pasar las fechas por debajo de la mesa. Todo esto lo coloque en la noche ya que mi compañera me recibía la guardia el otro día en la mañana y preferí evitar tener muchos pacientes y no tener tiempo para colocar los pequeños detalles.
Al día siguiente debía salir temprano y más porque estaba cansada y quería dormir, pero no sin antes esperar la reacción de la cumpleañera y desearle un feliz cumpleaños.

Pueden notar mi cara de cansancio y sueño jajaj pero aún así se logró el objetivo y a la final si hubo torta y gelatina.
A pesar de las diferencias que han ocurrido como en todo trabajo normal siempre intentamos llevar la mejor aptitud ya que nuestro trabajo requiere gran esfuerzo y no es fácil estar de guardia 24h.
Somos pocas en nuestro laboratorio y los cumpleaños se deben celebrar!
