Surely in many video games the health of your character has been seen in a critical state, having the need to play a more cautious way not to die, however, we will always have the availability to cure ourselves with items that are specially designed to regenerate life.
There are a great variety of healing items, the most frequent in many games are the classic potions, those bottles with red liquid that fill our lives considerably, but there are a variety of them in different video games which sometimes we can be surprised by the creativity of the developers.
Normally we always expect that healing objects are identified with the symbol of the cross, as you know is very much related to health, in the game Duke Nukem 3D we can find various sizes, but there is another source of healing in this video game that can be somewhat disgusting.
If you enter one of the toilets and destroy any of the urinals you can drink from the water that comes out of them, progressively curing your life, don't you think something crazy? Considering it's a public toilet is really disgusting, but from Duke Nukem's universe anything can be expected.
In other video games they choose plants as a method of healing, an example of this can be found in the classic Resident Evil. They were found in many places, they were also classified in three main groups, green, blue and red, each one of them had a unique property that allowed to cure the poison, to increase your resistance or simply to heal your wounds.
Food is also fundamental as an object of healing, in many survival video games are key items, but these items come from yesteryear in games of the genre Beat 'em up or also called me against the neighborhood, where your bar of life was to keep it full by consuming food.
We could find cakes, sweets, roasted chickens, pizzas and endless meals, although in some of these games the way to get the food was a little strange, you had to hit garbage bins as in the case of Street of Rage 2 in Sega, How are you going to heal eating food out of the garbage? It's just something we'll only see in video games.
If you think you've seen strange healing objects with the examples I just mentioned, there's still one that might surprise you. Remember Wolfenstein? It's a classic video game that appeared in the 90's on the computers of yesteryear which has received several sequels over time.
One of them called Wolfenstein 2 The New Colossus can be cured with a food a little unusual for us, it is dog food, if you are in poor health you can consume this item that you will find in the ground, simply a very strange method of regenerating life.
