Hello, friends. The other day, I shared a Weepinbell figurine on my blog. I would have loved to make another one of Victreebel, which is Weepinbell's evolution, but unfortunately, I didn't have any yellow paint. However, today I would like to share another figurine of a Pokémon in its early stages, namely Geodude.

Saludos amigos. El otro día compartí una figurita de Weepinbell en mi blog. Ciertamente me había encantado hacer otra de Victreebel, que es la evolución de Weepinbell, pero lamentablemente no tenía color amarillo. Sin embargo, hoy me gustaría compartir otra figurita de un Pokémon en su etapa inicial, me refiero a Geodude.
Los invito a acompañarme en el proceso creativo de esta figurita. ¡Vamos a empezar!
Step by step
The materials I used were as follows:
- Plasticine
- Wire
- Glue
I started by mixing plasticine of different colors and obtained this green color, which will serve as the filling for this Geodude. After making the filling, I used brown plasticine to cover it.
Paso a paso
Los materiales que utilicé fueron los siguientes:
- Plastilina
- Alambre
- Pegamento
Comencé mezclando plastilina de diversos colores y obtuve este color verde, el cual servirá como relleno para este Geodude. Luego de tener el relleno usé plastilina marrón para cubrirlo.
Once the base shape was covered, I began to mold Geodude's head, which is basically a rock with a mouth, eyes, and arms. I made the eye sockets by creating an opening in the middle of this sphere, one on each side. Then, for the mouth, I made a horizontal line at the bottom of the sphere.
Later, I continued with the eyes, using white and black plasticine for the eyes, then more brown plasticine for what would be the character's eyebrows.
Una vez cubierta la forma base comencé a moldear la cabeza de Geodude, que es básicamente una roca con boca, ojos y brazos. La cuenca de los ojos la hice creando una apertura a mitad de esta esfera, una a cada lado. Luego, para la boca, hice una línea horizontal en la parte baja de la esfera.
Mas tarde continué con los ojos, usando plastilina blanca y negra para los ojos, luego más plastilina marrón para lo que serían las cejas del personaje.
Once Geodude's head was done, I used some small pieces of wire and bent them to serve as supports for the Pokémon's arms.
Una vez hecha la cabeza de Geodude, usé unos trocitos de alambre y los doblé para que sirvieran de soporte para los brazos del Pokémon.
I covered the wire with brown modeling clay and began to mold it into the shape of these arms and hands with fingers, as you can see in the image below.
El alambre lo cubrí con plastilina de color marrón y la comencé a moldear para darle la forma de estos brazos y las manos con sus dedos, tal como pueden observar en la imagen de abajo.
This completed the arms. I didn't polish them too much because they are made of stone, so it's normal for them to have imperfections.
De esta manera quedaron terminado los brazos. Estos no los pulí demasiado pues son de piedra, así que es normal que tengan imperfecciones.
As you can see in the image above, it has a couple of wires sticking out, which will serve as supports to attach it to the head. To attach it, I used glue in addition to plasticine.
Como pueden ver en la imagen de arriba tiene un par de alambres que sobre salen, estos servirán de soporte para poder pegarlo a la cabeza. Precisamente para pegarlo, además de plastilina, usé pegamento.
