Hi Steemians!
How are you? Is the summer giving you good vibrations? For me, I'm not really into vacation mode just yet, still working and quite busy with music. Last week we rehearsed for a gig, see here the after rehearsal pic:
I have thought long and hard on what I would like to bring to the Steemit community and I've decided to go produce some music. That's new to me, I've never done it before. But I've always felt like I can hear the 'ingredients' or 'components' that make up songs and remixes, so why not give it a try?
I've still got this Roland synthesizer that is now over 20 years old, but in perfect condition. Playing on that thing brings back so much memories of when I used to be in a band and did all these fun gigs all over the country. My youngest daughter uses it now to learn how to play the piano, so it's in her room. She simply will have learn to share things now. 😏
.
Also, I installed FL Studio on my laptop. What a nice surprise to find out a lot of producers actually Windows! I always assumed the complete music scene was dominated by Apple, but no, the big Dutch DJ's frequently used standard Windows laptops. It's really great, but for a couple of nights I've been completely lost in millions of sounds you can find in there which has killed off my productivity. I would have loved to bring some musical results to this blog, but I promise those will come very soon. Good vibrations are coming this summer!
Oh, the 29th of September is my birthday. Guess what's on my wishlist:
Update: didn't want this post to be without some actual footage, so here's a short clip, quality is rather bad, but's it's just to get an impression, right:
