Mazey-best messaging app for fantasy leagues and other groups

If you are in a fantasy sports league or other sort of group that keeps in contact regularly. Are you having trouble keeping everyone informed without having information posted across multiple platforms? Then Mazey is the perfect solution.

Mazey.co is an app that combines the functionality of a group/direct messaging service, a notepad or log for records, and an event planner all in one. As the commissioner for my fantasy league I can say its been a huge game changer.

One of the best things about Mazey is the ability to create separate channels of discussion so things don't get all mixed up in one chat. With that comes the ability to block notifications on each channel so you have the ability to control what you want to see. For my league specifically if someone puts a guy up for trade he puts him in the trade block channel. Any further discussion is then moved to the main chat or interested teams can message them directly. Full disclosure though, your friends mostly need to follow those guidelines for it to work. As the admin of your group you do have the ability to lock channels making them a read only as well.

Another incredibly useful feature is the notebooks section. I use it to store information such as who has paid their league fees, payout structures, poll results. Basically information that needs to be accessed later on.

The event calendar is another great feature. When you have important events you can just plug it in and its displayed on the front page. You can even set up an rsvp option so you know who has seen it. And if your scheduled draft or meet up is at a specific location it can even set up a Google maps link for directions.

And lastly is the signup. Just text them your number and verify with a sms code. Takes seconds. To join a group you can either create one or if you received a code from a group just type it in, or click the link sent via text or email

I do admit that the app has a few minor bugs still for android, but apple is very smooth. The app is still very new and @mschoenthal (twitter) and his team are very responsive to issues that are brought up. Ive never seen an app dev team respond so quickly to issues that I've personally had. They even created a chat group for me and 16 other fantasy commissioners and regularly ask us for feedback. I have in no way been paid by Mazey to write this, I just love it and I know you will too.

My general use is for fantasy football but there are a ton of cases where I think the app could come in handy. Examples include sports boosters (kids sports), business meetings, parent/teacher communication for school to name a few.
