Hello valued-customer@valued-customer,
You have added some extensive food for thought to the situation that occurred.

There are subcultures of greater or lesser toxicity, and it isn't always obvious until a comprehensive subset of events have occurred and have been reacted to. That fact underlies the importance of freedom to choose the context of our lives, to choose our environment and the company we keep.

In the context of what you speak on here, I visited this thought briefly as a continuation to my thought that psychology is not a perfect tool to measure mental health disorders or personality traits.

The toxicity level of a group of people who stay stuck in a victim mindset and are looking to show examples of their tormentors is a risky place to be, and anyone could become falsely accused of being one in such a setting. (especially a virtual setting with all the protections that come with it) A newcomer to a group like this is an easy target if it's a well established group.

You seem to comprehend this well and it was succinctly put in the way you worded it.

I find the idea of writing about it as you did the key to your ability to benefit. I discover what I think or feel about things often from writing about them, and reckon you employ successful strategies confronted with a world that can turn from friendly to antagonistic on a dime.

Absolutely this is a similar character trait that we possess.

Something like that will ruin my day but that's about it.

I am generally a positive minded optimistic person who sometimes doesn't deal with things going wrong very well, but I can usually identify what went wrong, as well as identify if I'm surrounding myself with people who are not on my level or are toxic for me.

In this case the man is a fool for laughing at me after I donated for superchat ability, because he'll never get a donation from me again. I would like to believe a levelheaded person would consider that a stranger just donated his own resources to rectify a negative situation because his voice was being silenced, and therefor would influence the person to take a deeper look at what was happening. His awareness level is staggeringly nonexistent.

In so many words (without calling him a fool) I let him know in the email I sent that he'll never get support from me again. (That was 24 hours ago, no response as of yet and doubt there will be one.)

That's how I deal with it, just move on and keep living life.

Thank you for your kind words and great perspective my friend.
