Hello Everyone,

Today I want to show you all how the cayenne pepper plant is doing, as well as the cannabis.

Let's get right into it.

I have some beautiful peppers growing right now.

Unfortunately I had way more on this plant but decided to cut them all off.

There's a couple reasons for this. To maximize light efficiency on the plant, and conserve space in the grow area.

The fairy trellis's are just there for show at this point. It's crazy how big this plant suddenly became. At one point it really needed those support structures, but now it towers over them.

Currently I think there are four or five peppers growing. I'm hoping to get a little more upward growth on this plant so I can get a bunch of peppers without bushing it out too wide. Hopefully these current peppers will grow big and fast for me since I chopped so many lowers.

Let's look at that cannabis now.

This Big Mack Superstar clone exhibits some issues, not sure exactly what those issues are, but overall the health is good and she's growing pretty rapidly at the moment.

I've decided I'll throw her into a corner of the flowering tent in the next week or two. Fortunately I have enough space in the corners of the tent to make it possible.

The scrog (screen of green) net is looking really good to me. I have pretty good coverage over the entire thing, pretty even tops.

Which are just starting to form now.

They've been in the flowering tent for twelve days now and are right on track for flowering to begin.

This is about the time feeding starts. I've already given them a feeding on their last watering, and am still considering how I will go about a feeding regiment during this grow.

I'm thinking I might push for a 70 day flowering time.

Feeding lightly for the next 10 days, increasing feed for another 20, backing it to lighter feed for another 10, and then nothing for the last couple of weeks. which should be roughly 14-18 days of using up the last of the already dwindling nutrients stored up in the plants root system.

In my mind I have this down to a science. Things are always subject to change slightly along the way however, because there's a lot of trial and error when it comes to growing plants, and I'm still learning.

I'm actually really proud of this current grow, because everything worked out so nicely with the arrangement and upgrades.

The fact that I have four clones perfectly spaced and arranged was somewhat chance based, because they came from a batch of clippings where a couple of them died and four was the result.

When I clipped them, I didn't have this arrangement in mind.

A bit of luck happened there.

And because of that luck, I have a good idea of what will work in the future and what to plan for with future grows :)

Since these two pretties managed their way into scrogville, I figured they should get a little camera time. They're super beautiful and are the last two in the batch of seeds from the super fire bud I recently grew.

All these girls are going to need some water tomorrow.

So now we just sit back and wait for these buds to explode.

Do you all feel it too?

Tell me in the comments!

Thank you for stopping by,

Have a great day! -futuremind@futuremind
