In the past few weeks, the steem ecosystem seems to be going through a revamp which is a great thing to be happening right. One of which is the implementation of MIRA which is the key on the steem blockchain's scalability.
Having that at hand, we can confidently say that we are few steps in getting mainstream. In fact, Steemit Inc also announced that Steemit.com is already out of beta mode and is now officially released.
So while the devs are busy working on the next improvement for the blockchain, I think that we as the community should do our part in the promotion aspect of our blockchain and the Dapps that are built on top of it.
What I really appreciate about the steem community is their support to the native steem dapps as shown in the State of the Dapps website, it is staggering! And with it, I wanted to salute the steem-based devs in creating applications that our community wanted.
So, I came up to a new tag that I will call #iwantsteem
It will serve as a promotional campaign for steem that I will run within the steem ecosystem and outside the blockchain with the goals:
- To raise awareness about steem
- To educate the masses about steem and related Dapps
- To guide onboarded users through their journey in the ecosystem
I know that it's a huge undertaking to do it alone and so I invite my fellow steemians to join me in this campaign.
