The surroundings of Bicaz canyon, or Cheile Bicazului, belong to the most beautiful places in Romania. The canyon was sculpted by the waters of the Bicaz River (pictured), and the road connecting it connects Moldova (land - ed.) With Transylvania. The canyon is only 6 kilometers long, and the height of its steep walls reaches 300 meters.
