The Chinese are crafty people. One product after the other is launched after the other and in vaping it moves so fast you can't possibly keep up with the latest. I ordered this mod back in January/February, just before Chinese New Year. Fully expecting it would ship after the celebration. Not so fast. It arrived here on the other side of the globe this week.
So a boatload of patience was needed with this one.
I can't say anything but wow... fuck me, it is hands down a angry little fucker. A light press on the oversized fire button and it chucks like there was no tomorrow. Instantly, consistently and reliably.
I have had one smok mod before. It was easy enough, but this is a walk in the park compared. It follows the same pattern in the navigation with short click to flip to the next option and long click to confirm changes. It couldn't be much simpler.
It follows the pattern I have seen for a while and locks resistance when it detects a new coil. No complaints, as long as it works consistently. My old Smok mod failed at this after I dropped it to the floor. I hope I don't drop this one.
It is a small device. Compact and rounded edges makes it comfortable to hold. The display is the real marvel. My first device with an OLED screen. It's bright, crisp and really enhance the ease of use.
The display has a shiny, chromed(?) metal frame with the fire switch neatly integrated into it. It collects fingerprints like nothing else.
The back panel has a glossed honeycomb pattern with embedded glitter. A bit too bling for my taste, at least it's black. My preferred color.
I don't think I ever had a mod that made me smile this much. It scores in every aspect of what I consider important.
If I could choose, I would most likely preferred a matte frame, but that is of secondary importance.
Vaping is only fun when shit works reliably. I have a good feeling this sucker will.
