On 2nd June 2020, students were back in school after two months away due to Covid-19 in Singapore.
The need to get back into learning while ensuring safe social distance in various ways.
It has been about 1 and a half month now and pupils were given a short one week break from 18 July 2020 to 26 July 2020 as a school holiday.
I must admit the challenge of teaching with a mask on can really make us feel breathless.
Teachers also need a good break after struggling to teach and catch up with curriculum.
Most meetings and courses for teachers went online using zoom or google meet so teachers are not really free after school hours.
The need to get each student to clean their own table and chair before lesson and at the end of the day.
If there were other students who used the tables and chairs, our students would need to clean them again before using them.
It is a new normal to regularly wash of their hands after touching equipment or learning resources with soap.
Students had to get used to putting back their masks the moment they have finished their food during recesses.
It was a bit of struggle for everyone but we were able to get used to the new normal with constant reminders for those absent-minded ones.
