Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! My Featuring Battle

Time for the Social Media Challenge! again. This time, I am going to post early for I think I got interesting enough battle.

Splinterlands is one of the best play-to-earn blockchain game if not the best. It is fun to play and there are several ways to make money or cryptos out of Hive and Splinterlands ecosystem. To me, it looks to be a sustainable ecosystem, which I value the most.
Blogging like this, play the battles, collecting and opening reward chests, staking, providing liquidity, participate in the rental system and card and token trading, to name a few, all provide you opportunities to generate income, and of course if you participate in the trading, you'll have profit and loss. Oh.. if you are a big guy, you can participate in staking Splinterlands Validator Node License and get rewards with around 75%APR.

Participating in weekly Social Media Challenge! and Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge! gives small players and not a good blogger like us a considerable amount of tokens. I hope I can spread the good news about this wonderful game by my participation.

This week, I have this battle that I think worth of sharing. It was a Dragon+Earth Vs Fire splinters battle. There were 2 rules, Equalizer rule and Earthquake rule. The first rule made all monsters had same health initially. The 2nd rule would give non-flying monsters 2 damages at the end of each round. Dragon, Earth and Fire splinters were available to choose from. Mana cap was 34.
For the 1st rule, I have to look for the highest attacking cards without worrying health much. And I though Earth magic cards fit in to this consideration for they have magic attack that usually pass the shield but tend to have low health.
For the 2nd rule, I decided to use Brighton Bloom as the choice for summoner for its flying ability boost so that I didn't have to worry about the Earthquake. For this I had to sacrifice the magic boost from the summoner called Obsidian.

_{Because of Equalizer rule, we both had 9 health points for all summoners initially. My enemy had extra health boost by the summoner.
Most of my cards focus on enemy tank and reduced its health considerably.}

_{Earthquake deduct 2 hit points for all non-flying monsters. My team managed to take out enemy Living Lava. My tank was healed by two healers. But Regal Peryton was hit by blast and targeted by enemy Serpentine Spy.}

_{More damage from the Earthquake on enemy monsters bbut flying cards were OK. My team managed to take 2 more cards out. My tank was out and so was weaken Regal Peryton because of blast effect. Goblin Sorcerer was weaken by enemy Tenyii Strker and eliminated by Serpentine Spy.}

_{Earthquake kept damaging enemy non-flying cards. Enemy side had not enough attacking power to weaken my cards with two healers.}

_{The battle was settled on the 7th round.}

Did My Strategy Worked?
I sacrificed extra magic attack for the flying ability and it worked. My mistake may be using sneak ability card. I think it is best to focus on the tank when you play Equality rule.
For the Earthquake rule, most important thing may be try to survive. I tried to survive by having flying ability and it worked.
Using high health unit is a double edge sword, since the Equility rule makes both team have same health initially.
