Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!

Hey guys.. Mingalar par မင်္ဂလာပါ..

I am still in the low league after a few days of new season. Battle were not very much exiting at this level. As I didn't get to high enough league this previous season, new season started with low rating and it is a bit hard to reach to higher one. I find it easier to play in the higher league like Silver league, it seemed to be more difficult to get to Bronze I league. Once I get there I feel like easier to play.

This week Social Media Challenge is about one of my favorite monster JARED SCAR. The battle was 25 mana cap with Equal Opportunity rule.
I decided to use Life Splinter with Shieldbearer. Since Shieldbearer has taunting ability, it would protect weak cards in the back-line. JARED SCAR, in the 2nd position should attack weakest and gain good statistic for eliminating target.
My enemy also used Life splinter with focusing on range units.

_{As enemy used Shieldbearer, JARED SCAR can't attack on weak monsters. Enemy attacked first for it used Timemage to slow my monsters down. 1st round was busy attacking and healing Shieldbearer.}

_{My Shieldbearer was eliminated in the 2nd round and JARED SCAR got to the 1st position.}

_{As the taunted unit was gone, my weakest unit Vulguine became the target. My team was able to damage enemy Shieldbearer.}

_{Two of my team were knocked out. But JARED SCAR made first kill and got better stat.}

_{In round-4 JARED SCAR managed to kill another card and got better stat.}

_{Although JARED SCAR missed attack to Timemage in previous round, it made no mistake this time and got better stat.}

_{JARED SCAR became a difficult hit as the stat got better. Even though it was the only card left, it just kept killing and keep getting better.}

_{Just 2 more round and the battle was settled.}

Did my Strategy Worked?
It didn't work they way I planned. JARED SCAR was busy targeting Shieldbearer although it was supposed to target weakest monster.
