Splinterlands change the rule that if you play with starter cards, DEC rewards will be deducted.
Anyway, today quest is Snipe quest and should be fun to play.
I had to play quite a number of battles because of the rule and mana cap. Some rules are not good for sniper and difficult to put sniper in some low mana capped battles.
The battle I'd like to share is Water splinter vs Death splinter. It was 29 mana capped match with Explosive Weaponry rule, means all monsters have blast ability. That kind of rule is favor for the snipe or opportunity cards because, some of the attack hit 3 monsters at once especially for the sniper which usually target the range or magic cards that usually placed in the middle. It is a good idea to use the cards with good speed. I was a bit worried at first when I saw enemy line-up. It was 4 cards vs 6 cards. Enemy cards seemed to be quite strong. For I had better speed, I had two early attacks. When my sniper had a chance to attack, it eliminated the Life Sapper.
After round-1, I could eliminate 2 enemy cards that we had same numbers of cards.
After round-2, enemy had left with only two cards that were severely damaged.
I just need one attack in round-3 to kill two enemy cards and win the battle.
It was pretty fast to finish in 3 rounds the battle which involved total of 10 monsters.
As I was back in Bronze II, I didn't expect a good rewards from the chest. And I got Gargoya Lion from the chest.
