I agree with a lot of things you say. I don't know why Krampus is chosen as a name for this metric, but it really is a negative name. I do find it good that we have such a figure.
I also agree that we could use could do way better in 'educating' new Hivers. The problem is that a lot of them are actually onboarded by people that tell them to extract. So we either have to find a way to change their thoughts or stop their earnings and let them leave.
I'd rather have less active users that do interact and 'invest' a part of their rewards to support Hive than more users that only extract. Apart from the fact that they are taught to do so.

I'm trying to create awareness of this happening. Not only for those who curate, but also for those who extract.
