Dandelions are such interesting flower. I especially like the way how they multiply. Everyone knows the stage where the normally bright yellow dandelions are completely full of 'parachute' seeds waiting for the wind to be taken away.
I was expecting lot's of photos from dandelions in this phase, so I decided to pick another shot as a submission for the qurator@qurator photocontest.

Here's a photo I took a couple of years ago on a hill in the Belgian Ardennes. This meadow was, as far as I could see filled with millions of dandelions.

And this is what made this possible. Each dandelion has tens of seeds that get spread out by the wind. They will multiply each year and this results in a field full of dandelions.

And they you have new dandelions....

Their bright yellow colour attracts a lot of insects as well. You can see this bee which has the pouch on its leg completely filled with pollen.

Photographing is my passion. Although I like photography in general, nature photography is one of my favourite subjects. I often go out with my camera for a hike to capture the beauty of nature.
I'm sharing my photos on Hive, Noise.Cash & APPICS.
I would love to read what you think of my photos in the comments.
