Answer: It's because most of us do not spend one whole BitCoin as a currency❗
In round numbers - IF one BitCoin ever gets to be worth $1,000,000 (one million dollars), then one Satoshi will be worth exactly one cent - i.e. 1 Satoshi = 1 ¢❗
But, we are not there - not yet❗
At current prices of around $10,000 per BitCoin, 10,000 Satoshi = $1 and 100 Satoshi = 1 ¢❗
Remember these current values (10,000 Satoshi = $1) and not be fooled into placing too much value on a lot of Satoshi❗
