Well, this is a wrap! I finished the B.A.-P.A. build today. It is a custom build that is headed out to Pennsylvania. The fella that ordered it made several references to being in a motorcycle club, and his love for knives. So I decided that I would make this piece look alittle "tougher".

This was built using 3/16" thick 1095 high carbon steel. It is about 10 1/2" over all length. The handles are made from stabilized maple scales with blue G10 liners. The pins are 3/16" stainless steel.

The tip is a mix between a sheepsfoot and a wharncliffe. He said that he wanted something that is in the middle. I tried to get it to not look so much like a chopper, but more like it comes to a point.

The fun part with this was burning the handle. I used a torch to add that burnt finish to the handle. Then I finished it up with a 500 grit Tung Oil sand.

With this one all finished up I am going to start another one! I don't currently have an order, so this next one will be an art piece. If you are interested in a custom knife let me know! I accept PayPal and Crypto!

Be well
