This is a shout out to all of the parents out there that has a kid that just isn't impressed by them.
That sounds like it is a little harsh, but dang, sometimes you just want your kid to say "crap, dad that was amazing". It used to happen more often. The kids were much smaller and were impressed when I could lift heavy things. Just being a large man I could always do things that were alittle bigger than most. Well, that seems to have worn off.
Now days I am lucky if I get any excitement out of them. Today I was hauling a large load of round hay bales. I had to navigate slippery terrain in a two wheel drive truck...up a hill. That did it. That got me some oooh's and ahhh's.
Maybe we are going from a time of them getting excited by my muscles and now they are excited when I flex my mind and some skill. Either way, I am excited that they are excited.
