I woke up this morning full of pee and vinegar....It snowed last night! I love the snow so much, and I love getting up and plowing. Not only do I get to plow, but it adds to a couple of hills that I create for my kids. That way they can start higher and get more zoom on the way down to the barn.
I also woke up thinking about something that I watched yesterday. It was an interview between Ravi Zacharias and Ben Shapiro. I know what you are thinking...dang those are some very outspoken believers. You are right!
It was so nice to listen to someone that was fluent in apologetics, being able to explain their point of view on their faith and the state of the world without some one thinking it is an arguement.
I think it is just terrible that as adults people don't seem to be able to have an opinion about something without someone taking it like a personal insult. It is definitely possible to have two completely different views and still be able to talk as friends. We don't need the world to agree with us, and if it doesn't then we need to be able to hear that stuff and not cry.
It was so nice to hear him speaking about the ideas of moral law and the law giver. To see the very argument of evil in the world being broken down to a basic concept of believing in God or not. It was interesting to think about us as humans as either intentionally set apart from the rest of the world versus being just highly developed accidental tissue or highly evolved animals.
I love forward to taking in more of Ravi's speeches and feeling the love this guy has for everyone, while still being strong enough in his own faith.
P.S. I'm still working on a vlog title because freedompoint's freedom points isn't sitting well with me. Maybe I will try the name Life On Random today and see what sticks. Let me know in the comments!
Be well
