Everyday we win! Winning of course is subjective. I want to win. I want my wife to win. I want my kids to win. To me winning is waking up and being able to enjoy your experience (life). To be able to make choices and feel free. There are always different ideas of what winning looks like, but there is one way that I am not on board with....winning through others failures.
That is not something I am really a big fan of. This isn't high school. This isn't some athletic team. This is life. We are all living our own lives and making decisions everyday that impact our lives. When it comes to the choices that people make, I think there is plenty of room for different opinions. I don't think that life has to be an either/or but more like an and/both.
There have been several glaring examples of gloating victory over others failures the last couple of days. I have seen it several times regarding the pandemic and the way that people are choosing to act. I have also seen it all over twitter and the way that certain blockchain users talk about their old blockchain. I'm not calling out the blockchain, I think the technology is great, but why does a successful the new blockchain have to be built from a perspective of a failing old blockchain? In fact, I was called "not smart" because I still using the old blockchain as well.
So we all make choices when it comes to what we do everyday. They are always going to look different than someone else's. It doesn't matter what other people are doing, but it matters what we are doing. It matters what choices we are making for ourselves and our families. Are any of us actually in a position of deciding what is the best decision for someone else? Or are we just acting from a place of trying to validate our own actions?
I have talked about this in many vlogs over the years. Sometimes a negative out look is built on the idea of needing to validate ones own actions. The idea that someone else's decisions have to be a "wrong" one, to make us feel like we made the "right" one. The idea of right and wrong is always in the mind of the individual.
So how do we live this awesome experience and realize that we are all be living the good life and making good decisions, without someone else having to look bad in the process?! I think we can win through love.
Be well
