We get one trip through this life. We can only speculate about what comes next. We learn and we grow. We love and we lose. We meet new people and forget others.
There are certain constructs in this world that make us feel tied to others through ceetain conditions. Jesus spoke clearly about what he viewed as family. When he stated "who is my mother, who are my brothers" I believe he was making a point.
There are many people that cross our paths, and some form strong long term bonds. When you have the power to choose your family, you can form real and deep bonds.
