Who Wants War?

Some people seem to be troubled today,
That a new war hasn’t begun.
“I’m troubled,” it seems, is not what we say,
When observing no lives were undone.

Young men won’t be killed on each side,
Over the downing of an unmanned device.
When at the last minute, he didn’t decide,
On war, yet some think that’s not nice.

How many families escaped a sure death?
How many kids were not maimed?
All of them today still take in their breath,
Are real, loving people today then inflamed?

I think not, as those who love life don’t want war.
They aren’t “troubled” that a war was called back.
Rather, we all should be thankful no gore
Will greet us on the news, from a baseless attack.
