I was an impromptu decision, we were sitting in our dressing room. Next day onwards we were having our long awaited leave. We had to make plans!
What should we do with our 20 days of leave?

A lot of things to decide. We hardly had any money and yet we wanted to enjoy ourselves. Thats when an evil idea crept in, cheapest mode of transport is my bike ( After calculating all the variables) so why not just go ahead and ride . Wify immediately gave a go ahead , i was surprised, most ladies wont agree. But mine was different she loved the idea! So did I ! and we started to prepare.....................what was the preparation?

What was the route!!! We decided to ride to our hometown PUNE....... A distance of 800 Km............
But first .........what was the start point? MHOW, a small town in central India

As planned we started our journey early next morning..........interesting part was carrying our bags.........so we tied them up at the rear of the bike and rest with wify.
We visited on the to Omkareshwar
Omkareshwar is a Hindu temple dedicated to God Shiva. It is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva.It is on an island called Mandhata or Shivapuri in the Narmada river; the shape of the island is said to be like the Hindu ॐ symbol.
There are two main temples of Lord Shiva here, one being Omkareshwar (whose name means "Lord of Omkaara or the Lord of the Om Sound") located in the island and one to Amareshwar (whose name means "Immortal lord" or "lord of the Immortals or Devas") located on the south bank of Narmada River on the mainland.
With blessings of Shiva we move ahead. To Dipnagar near Bhusaval
There we met our relatives and rested for a while
This part of India is known for high quality banana farms

Next Stop Aurangabad
Aurangabad is a city in Maharashtra state, in India. It’s known for the 17th-century marble Bibi ka Maqbara shrine, styled on the Taj Mahal. The nearby Shivaji Maharaj Museum, dedicated to the Maratha king Shivaji, displays war weapons and a coin collection. North of the city, the Aurangabad Caves comprise ancient, rock-cut Buddhist shrines. West of the city, battlements surround the medieval Daulatabad Fort.

Awesome Aurangabad , with a slice of history and amazement we moved ahead to Shirdi
Shirdi is a town in the jurisdiction of the municipal council popularly known as Shirdi Nagar Panchayat, located in Rahata Taluka in Ahmednagar District in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is accessible via the Ahmednagar - Manmad State Highway No.10, approximately 83 km from Ahmednagar and 15 km from Kopargaon. It is located 185 km east of the Western Seashore line (the Ahmednagar - Manmad road), a very busy route.
Shirdi is famously known as the home of the late 19th century saint Sri Sai Baba. The Sri Saibaba Sansthan Trust also located in Shirdi is one of the richest temple organisations.
The atmosphere at Shirdi was electrifying and energizing. The positivity of the place can felt , calming all senses and allowing peace to be felt. With plans to spend more time next week we resumed our ride.
Next Stop Shani Shingnapur
Shani Shingnapur is a village in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Situated in Nevasa taluka in Ahmednagar district, the village is known for its popular temple of Shani, the Hindu god associated with the planet (graha) Saturn. Shingnapur is 35 km from Ahmednagar city.
Shingnapur is also famous for the fact that no house in the village has doors, only door frames. Despite this, no theft was reported in the village.
The temple is believed to be a "jagrut devasthan" (lit. "alive temple"), meaning that a deity still resides in the temple icon. Villagers believe that God Shani punishes anyone attempting theft.The deity here is "Swayambhu" (Sanskrit: self-evolved deity) that is self emerged from earth in form of black, imposing stone. Though no one knows the exact period, it is believed that the Swayambhu Shanaishwara statue was found by shepherds of the then local hamlet. It is believed to be in existence at least since the start of Kali yuga.

We couldn't click may pics after this since we wanted to reach Pune at the earliest, but the ride was quite eventfull till pune. We almost met with an accident but were fortunate enough. The 800Km ride taught us more about our culture than any book can.
We were hooked for life to Bike rides, which we did. Several of them,i'll sharing those as well. Thanks all for reading the post .
