I took a trip to Disney Springs. Disney Springs is a collection of shops, restaurants, and attractions open to the public without having to enter a Disney park. When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was the hot air balloon.
There were so many different restaurant options but I decided on a hamburger and milkshake spot. They had a milkshake with bacon in it, so I had to give it a try. After our meal, we walked until I found a candy apple shop. The apples were intricately designed to look like Disney characters.
There was a Mickey Mouse apple, Olaf from Frozen, and others to choose from. The apples were made in the front so I were able to see the process for them. When we left the shop, one of the live music performances around the springs was nearby so I stopped to listen for a while.
The band had 3 girls playing string instruments and they were very talented. Another thing we liked, were the big LEGO sculptures. There was a giant dragon in the lake, another dragon blowing fire, and others littered around the area. I wondered how many hours and bricks were required for each one. We went into a Play-Doh shop before heading into a dinosaur exhibit for our final stop after a long day. Overall, We all enjoyed our time at Disney Springs.
