Another week and another Splinterlands challenge, this time using one side of the EARTH deck which is quite good and useful due to its defensive and offensive stats, and that card is: Mycelic Infantry, a very powerful and at the same time very resistant Melee card which is perfect to place it in first position to act as a "tank card". On the other hand, in a few hours the season ends and this season went "well", to put it nicely, that is to say, it was not spectacular, but I did not get such bad rewards, although as a player you always expect something more. I was able to collect 50 GOLD chests, so at least I expect something decent, although I don't have much hope either. But anyway, leaving that topic aside, these are the battles of the week's challenge with Mycelic Infantry.

In this first battle I focused on using mostly, with the exception of Mycelic Infantry, Magic Attack cards and therefore I used the Obsidian summoner and this was the strategy of this battle: In first position I placed the protagonist card of the week's challenge: Mycelic Infantry a card that acts as both defensive card and offensive card, since in addition to having a pretty good attack, with 4 attack points, it also has excellent defensive stats like 8 life points and 3 shield points, but also has the ability "Shield" (all this taking into account that it is LVL 3), the only drawback I have with this card is that it is too slow, counting with only 1 point of speed, although in this formation there is a card that will help to fix that drawback a little. In the following positions and as I mentioned before, the following cards will be composed of Magic Attack type, occupying the second position: Queen Mylecia, a card that has the ability "Protect", which turns out to be quite useful for Mycelic Infantry, since in this way its shield increases to 5 points. In third position I use one of the cards I use the most in the battles: Spirit Miner and thanks to its ability "Swiftness" it improves the stats of all my cards, but especially Mycelic Infantry, since it will improve its speed a little bit.

Continuing with the Magic Attack card festival, in fourth position I placed Sporcerer, a card that also benefits from the Spirit Miner ability, and in turn Sporcerer is a very useful card due to its "Rust" ability. In penultimate position is a card that I remember that I almost never used, until I realized that combining it with Obsidian summoner, this card turns out to be something totally powerful and useful, that card is: Magi of Chaos. And in last position I put one of my favorite cards of the EARTH deck: Spirit Shaman, this is a card which I have talked a lot about it and I have said that I like it a lot because of its ability "Stun".

In this second battle the strategy was totally different compared to the first one, because the "Up Close & Personal" rule was active, therefore the card formation had to be formed by Melee type and also, using the Obsidian summoner was totally unnecessary so I used the summoner "NAME OF THE SPELLER". Therefore and due to all these factors the strategy was as follows: In the first position I placed the main card of the challenge of the week: Mycelic Infantry, card of which I have spoken, a very resistant and powerful card. In the next two positions I placed cards that had the "Opportunity" ability, being those cards: Screeching Vulture and Venari Scout respectively, two extremely useful cards that I really like to use because of their abilities.

I like the "Opportunity" ability, as well as the "Sneak" ability, so in positions four and five are cards with that ability, being those cards: Uraeus and Goblin Thief. And in the last position I placed a card with the ability "Demoralize", an extremely useful ability especially considering that the rule of this battle requires us to use only Melee cards and the card chosen for this occasion is: Disintegrator.
