I spent a little more than a day without internet because there was a problem with the fiber optic throughout the city, luckily it didn't take long to solve, although it was quite desperate that the internet company did not communicate with its users to report the problem and we had to find out by other means, but anyway, that's not important for this post, but I wanted to mention it. Since, another week and another Splinterlands challenge, this time using a card from the DEATH deck that I really like a lot, that card is: Dhampir Stalker, a ranged attack card with the ability "True Strike", which practically is a card with the ability of the Marvel character "Bullseye", so to speak. These are today's battles using that card:
In this first battle except for the first card, all other cards that are in the formation are magic attack or ranged attack, as I wanted to change the strategy a little by not using cards with the ability "Sneak" and the strategy was as follows: In first position one I placed a card with the "Thorns" ability that I use more and more in my strategies with the DEATH deck, that card is: Cursed Windeku, a card that besides having that useful defensive ability, also has a good amount of life points (10) and decent attack points and speed (3), so it is both an offensive and defensive card quite useful. In the next two positions I placed two magic attack cards, one of them being the classic: Prismatic Energy, a card that despite not having so many magic attack points, since it only has two, it compensates with very high defensive stats, since in addition to having 10 life points, it also has the ability "Magic Reflect" and "Void", making it a very resistant card against other magic attack cards. In the third position I placed: Djinn Muirat, a card that in terms of design is one of my favorites of all Splinterlands, it is simply spectacular, but also at stats level is a fairly complete card, although at speed level is quite low, only 2 points, but it has skills like "Void Armor", "Knock Out" and "Giant Killer", skills that make this card very powerful, but in addition, it also has a good amount of life points and 4 shield points.
The next 3 cards in position, are of the ranged attack type. In fourth position a card with the ability "Demoralize", an ability that is always useful, but also a card with a good amount of life points: Octopider. In penultimate position I placed the main card of the challenge of the week: Dhampir Stalker, a ranged attack card that does not miss any attack, it is an excellent card, although I think it costs a lot of mana points. And in last position I placed the legendary card with the abilities "Opportunity" and "Snare", that card is: Lira The Dark.
In this second battle, again almost all of the cards I used in this battle were ranged or magic attack cards, since this time the "Briar Patch" battle rule was active, so I wanted to minimize as much damage as possible by the "Thorns" ability and some cards that were in the first battle also repeated in this second battle (one of them being logically Dhampir Stalker). In first position I placed the legendary card: Harklaw, a very powerful defensive and offensive card, with a set of skills that make it effective in battle, although for my taste it has very little speed.
In second position, he repeats again in formation: Djinn Muirat, an excellent and very powerful one. In third position, because there was also the battle rule "Armored Up", I needed a card that had the ability "Rust", so that in this way minimize the amount of shield points of my enemy and the card with that ability chosen was: Boogeyman. In card position, repeat once again in formation: Prismatic Energy and in penultimate position the main card of the challenge: Dhampir Stalker. While in last position I placed a card that I have been using a lot in battle due to its ability "Cripple": Dark Ferryman.
