LORE
παπππ πππ ππππ
This monster is the eldest of the ancient wardens of fire, spirits of flame that dwell in the deepest rivers of stone. DJINN INFERNI is prideful and cunning but is fiercely loyal to whoever it serves as its master. With the opening of the rift and betrayal of DJINN MURIAT he has taken up a blood oath of vengeance against the chaos exercitus. He rise up to the surface enduring the stink of water and flesh only to lay waste to the enemies of stone and fire.
STATS
This monster is an Epic Card from ### FIRE SPLINTER ### which has 6levels. It has GIANT KILLER ability starting from its base level up to 6. An added STUN ability is gained at Level 5 making whichever monster it hits unable to attack for a certain round when such ability is activated. This added ability made ### DJINN INFERNI### more fearsome for an opponent. It doesnβt have any armor or shield all throughout its level while its magic attack and speed steadily increases in proportion to its level.
RULESET
LINE-UP
SUMMONER: QUIX THE DEVIOUS
This summoner will debuff the enemy line-up monster with 1unit speed and 1unit ranged attacking power. This will allow me to have a speed advantage when speed is taken into consideration since Iβm planning to use medium speed monsters (thatβs what I thought, atleast). I have high mana available I can spend and this summoner being a low-cost mana gives me more to spare in selecting higher mana cards to battle the opponent through since it only cost 4. That leaves me with a high margin of 52 mana so I can better select the monsters I need to use in facing my opponent.
FORGOTTEN ONE
This is a medium speed monster with high attacking melee power. This is one of the best fire splinter monster I have in my arsenal which made it one of a go-to monster when higher mana battle is to be fought. Itβs got 4unit melee attacking power which makes it a dangerous opponent especially for those monsters without armor or shield. It can easily kill monsters with lower HP. I placed it in 1st Position mainly because at that time it can only attack an opponent when it is upfront of the line-up.
CARNAGE TITAN
This monster was placed in 2nd Position because it has the REACH ability which enables it to attack the enemyβs first position monster despite it being a melee attack type cardβ¦and it attacks twice to bootπππβ¦ thanks to its DOUBLE STRIKE ability. This card costs me 11mana. A high price to be paid (in mana) in return to its great attacking power. Itβs also a medium speed monster and has a high amount of armor to shield itself from enemyβs melee and range attackers. What more can I ask? Itβs got the power, the shield and the speed. This monster deserves to be placed in the battlefield as often as possible as mana allows.
CHAOS DRAGON
It is one of the best card I got in my arsenal. I often use this monster in my line-up because I love how it destroys the enemy randomly. It doesnβt follow any pattern in its attacks. It attacks wherever it wants to. In most cases that I've seen, it mostly attacks the middle line-up with its SCATTERSHOT ability where its BLAST ability gained at LEVEL 2 is best displayed and put to good use. Everytime this monsterβs turn is up, two or three enemy monsters always take great damage directly reducing their HP making it a great ally in the battlefield. This monster has 3units magic and 3units speed making it a truly fearsome monsters while it roams the battlefield. This being in the 3rd Position makes it well-guarded from enemy backline attacker. The only one that can attack this monster at the early part of a battle is a monster with the same BLAST ability. The 14mana used in selecting this card is a mana well-spent when its performance in the battlefield is evaluated.
DJINN INFERNI
This monster is placed in the 4th Position because I also wanted it to stay in the battle for as long as possible. With its 3unit magic attack at its disposal this is also a powerful ally in the battlefield. Furthermore, with its GIANT KILLER ability it can deal twice the damage from enemy costing 10 or more mana. High-cost mana monsters can often or will mostly be seen in the battlefield when high mana is given at the start of the battle since they are the ones most likely to bring victory to any battle mages. The role of this monster in the battlefield is to remove such high-powered high mana cost monsters for as early as possible, thus dealing twice the damage it gave to them. This is also the fastest monster in my line-up for this battle. The downside for this monster is although itβs a low-cost mana monster itβs got low HP as well so it needs to be well protected from enemy backline monster attackers. This monster will be the target of enemy monster with OPPORTUNITY ability so I need to put one more monster with lower HP in my line up if I wanted it to be protected from such.
LAVA LAUNCHER
With the remaining mana available I chose and placed this card in the 5th Position because itβs also got decent 3units ranged attacking power and a decent 3units speed as well. That stated stats will be useful enough in battle adding great damage to enemy monsters. It also got 6armor + 6HP making it an ideal monster to guard my 3rd and 4th Position monster making them stay in the battle as long as possible.
XENITH ARCHER
I placed this card in the Last Position because I needed a card with low HP so enemy monsters with OPPORTUNITY ability will attack this card first thus making my 4th Position monster stay in the game for a few more rounds. With 2mana remaining at my disposal this card best fit the one I need in my line-up. It has 3HP which is low enough so it can be targeted by any OPPORTUNITY type monster first.
THE BATTLE
The opponent gained the speed advantage in this battle because we used the same summoner and then added it also added the card with SLOW ability further reducing my line-upβs speed. Most of my line-up now has 1unit speed which make it a very disadvantageous situation for me.
The 1st Round started with an attack from the opponent mainly targeting my 1st Position monster. This means that the opponent didnβt use any OPPORTUNITY or SNEAK attack type monster so my 4th Position card can surely stay in the battle since it is safe from any attacks.
Before the 1st Round ended, my 4th Position monster dealt a massive damage to the opponentβs frontline monster. It easily took away 6HP since my 4th Position monster has 3units magic and GIANT KILLER ability, thus, the damage received was doubled.
Same from the previous round, the 2nd Round started with an attack from the opponent. The opponent successfully reduced the HP of my frontline monster. But before they totally eliminated it, my 4th Position monster successfully dealt the killing blow to the opponentβs front-line card not giving it a chance to retaliate at least once.
It was right after that my frontline card left the battlefield.
It was in the middle of this round when my then 3rd Position now at 2nd Position shot the opponentβs 2nd to the last monster. This dealt damages to three monsters at once killing 2 monsters at the back in the process.
My monsters and the opponentβs continued their exchanges of blows one after another until the end of the 2nd round. At this point I still have 5monsters at my disposal to carry me through the next round while the opponent had only 3 left.
Furthermore, my remaining monsters were all too powerful compared to whatβs remained of the opponentβs. One doesnβt need a discerning eye at this point to see which team will come out victorious
The 3rd Round once again started with an attack from the opponent which immediately ended since there were only 3 monsters left. My teamβs attack immediately reduced the HP of the current frontline monster since it was dealt with the GIANT KILLER ability from my currently 3rd Position monster which is DJINN INFERNI. The enemy was left with only one monster after CHAOS DRAGON turn was up. It shot the middle monster killing 2 monster again in the process. The final blow was dealt with by LAVA LAUNCHER successfully ending the battle.
POV
The battle lasted three rounds and my team emerged as the victorious one.
The opponent may have chosen the cards line-up well and I thought I might have problem in gaining victory from this battle but my card selection proves that my line-up was the better one this time.
I am satisfied with the outcome of battle since it ended in my victory. Given the same circumstances; ruleset, mana cap and splinter availability, I will use the same line up I did and will not replace any monster from one to another. They were the best monsters, considering availability from my collection at that time, to use for that specific battle. Also it didnβt occur to me that the opponent will use the same summoner as I since upon looking at the opponentβs previous battles I thought he might use WATER SPLINTER
DJINN INFERNI is a powerful beast. It surely lives up to its ability called GIANT KILLER since one strike from this monster alone is enough to leave any monster almost dying. This monster is a great counter-measure to those opponents using high-powered high mana cost monsters.
