There was a lot of expectation around this movie, because the story has a great fandom, but due to character problems between the main characters, there was a big drop in the interest of many of the fans, even it was reflected in the premiere when the estrangement between these two was noticed. Many had the doubt that this was to promote the movie, but I feel it is not so, but we also wondered if this would affect the chemistry in their performances and how it would look on the screen. Personally I feel it wasn't the same, I didn't see the film with the same eyes anymore. I think the production started off on the wrong foot in this aspect and we will see how it affects the views on Prime Video.

Taking the opportunity I want to start talking about the performances and the cast. Most of the cast are the same from the first installment, with some new characters as antagonists. The first thing I must say is that the performances in this opportunity seemed generic to me, I did not connect with the main characters, especially with Gabriel, who I felt was a bit overacted. It's a real pity, because this trilogy was not a work of art at all, it was mostly aimed at teenagers or young characters and at least it was good enough.

Aprovechando la oportunidad les quiero comenzar hablando sobre las actuaciones y el elenco. La mayoría del reparto son los mismos de la primera entrega, con algunos nuevos personajes como antagonistas. Lo primero que debo decir es que las actuaciones en esta oportunidad me parecieron genéricas, la conecté con los protagonistas, sobre todo con Gabriel, que lo sentí algo sobreactuado. Es una verdadera lástima, porque esta trilogía para nada era una obra de arte, más que todo iba dirigida para los adolescentes o personajes jóvenes y al menos cumplía.

Many characters that had a greater participation in the first installment, now has few appearances, including the best friends of the main characters (The protagonists). In this second movie the story is quite similar to the trilogy of Through My Window, where everything was beautiful in the first movie, while in the second movie we saw the couple problems and how in the end there may or may not be an estrangement to give more intrigue to the third movie with the end of the story.

Otro aspecto negativo es que vi en culpa Tuya fue la historia, hay cosas sin sentido y más para aquellos que han leído los libros. Muchos personajes que tenían una mayor participación en la primera entrega, ahora tiene pocas apariciones, entre ellos los mejores amigos de los personajes principales (Los protagonistas). En esta segunda película la historia es bastante parecido a la trilogía de A través de mi ventana, donde todo era bonito en la primera película, mientras que en la segunda veíamos los problemas de pareja y como al final puede o no haber un distanciamiento para darle una mayor intriga a el tercero película con el final de la historia.

Muchos fanáticos están decepcionados por los cambios con respecto a los libros, pero siempre se debe decir que las adaptaciones no son fiel, siempre hacen cambios para hacer más atractiva la trama al público y no contar todos los detalles que sí encontramos en los escritos de la autora Mercedes Ron. En fin, para mí la historia en esta oportunidad fue un 4/10, incluso podría decir que fue peor. Siento que la trama en algunos casos fue lenta y en otra muy rápida y algunas cosas no la logré entender de un todo, se me hizo bastante confuso.

What I did like again was the photography, the film shows very beautiful places, where we see the beaches, the waves, the boats, among other charming places where this story unfolded. I must say that I also liked some of the shots, they were great and there I must highlight the work of director Domingo Gonzalez. We also see again clandestine car races, although I feel that not with the same excitement of the first film, but if it complies with the story, at least it is another point in favor. The soundtrack is good for the type of film and the target audience, with good background music in the moments of suspense, but I missed more in the moments of greater drama.

Lo que sí me gustó nuevamente fue la fotografía, en la película se muestran lugares muy hermosos, donde vemos las playas, las olas, las embarcaciones, entre otros sitios encantadores donde se desarrolló esta historia. Debo decir que también me gusto algunas tomas, fueron geniales y allí sí debo destacar la labor del director Domingo González. También vemos nuevamente carreras clandestinas de coches, aunque siento que no con la misma emoción de la primera película, pero si cumple con la historia, al menos es otro punto a favor. La banda sonora es buena para el tipo de película y el público a la que va dirigido, con buenas músicas de fondo en los momentos de suspenso, pero me faltó más en los momentos de mayor drama.

In conclusion, I can tell you that the film Culpa Tuya (2024) has a lower level compared to the first film of the trilogy, both in its story, even in the performances of the cast, of course some of them were good, but others left much to be desired, it all looked very generic. The photography was very good and the soundtrack was good. Do I recommend it? As I always say this kind of movie is not for all audiences, it is aimed at a young audience, but it is always good to give it a chance, each person has a different perception, some may not agree with my opinion, but this is personal and goes according to my experience watching the production. Let's hope for the third one and that there will be a noticeable improvement.

En conclusión les puedo decir que la película Culpa Tuya (2024) bajo de nivel con respecto a la primera película de la trilogía, tanto en su historia, incluso en las actuaciones del cast, claro algunos realizaron un buen, pero otros dejaron mucho que desear, se veía todo muy genérico. La fotografía muy bien y la banda sonora cumple. ¿La recomiendo? Como siempre digo esta clase de película no es para todo público, está dirigida para un público juvenil, pero siempre es buena darle una oportunidad, cada persona tiene una percepción distinta, puede que algunos no coincida con mi opinión, pero esta es personal y va de acuerdo a mi experiencia al ver la producción. Esperemos la tercera y que haya una mejoría notable.
