I spent pretty much most of the weekend at home being sick, feeling sick and feeling tired.
The feeling of being tired tho has been with me for a long period of time, I feel like I'm not achieving anything while doing a lot.

What was wrong with me?

I had a really bad sore throat, coughing a lot, nose dripping like a broken pipe, and feeling like shit overall. Did some foot bath, a lot of tea with ginger and lemon, used some nose sprays etc. Came to work today because I don't like being on sick-leave and I feel a lot better already as well.

What do I mean with mental fatigue?

Do you know the feeling when waking up and just wanting to say fuck it to everything and everybody?
And not because I don't like to work - all this but opposite, I feel like I just am too tired to do this and I feel like my mind is full of some bs and that's mysterious.
Exactly this, but multiply it by 10.

I all the time feel like I'm doing something wrong even though I'm not, not sure what is going on and how to fix this feeling.
I'm constantly tired of everything even after getting 9 to 10 hours of sleep.

What do I think would help me right now?

14-days trip to somewhere alone - for example a little city named Cosenza in Italy.
Just a 2/3 star hotel/motel, and a few hundred bucks so I could buy some food and beer for myself.
Live in their culture for 2 weeks, speaking with different people, exploring and mostly setting my mind free. I need this so bad!

Any tips for other who start feeling the same way?

Take a vacation, stop doing the exact same things you do. Change your routine, if you driving to work the same way every day, change the route, make it 5km longer if you need to. Walk the other route. Buy different food. Talk to different people. Approach all your problems in different ways.

I've done the exact same things for the past ~5 years. Wake up in the morning and the first thing has been to head for a shower, after which I go to the toilet, after what I have breakfast and go to work.

We are all just stuck in our mind, and this will make you tired at one point or another, try to find some variety in your life, try to make your day as interesting as possible. Try new foods, listen to new music, try something you would've never tried before.

Live your day everyday, like it would be your last day on the earth!
