The good and the bad
¿And what is good and what is bad?
We human beings live in a race where we run away from the 'bad' but ironically it is what we attract the most, but before asking ourselves, the reason for that, we must question ourselves and know what is good and what is bad, because in reality we can say good what is profitable for us, but not always for others and what is bad for us is good for others. So, are we selfish or ignorant? because also by omission we 'sin'.
We can call good to the subjective sensation of tranquility that something gives us. And we call bad to what makes us uncomfortable and fills us with anxiety. But do we control it or does it control us?
It is definitely not possible to have peace in life if we learn to let go of control over things and also to stop labeling them. Because rain is neither good nor bad, neither is loneliness and nothing we have a prejudice against is. They are only preconceived ideas that we have, which lead us to live an unbalanced life. Where we will always debate between what is and what is not good.
Personally I think that good and bad do not exist, yes, as you read it, they do not exist! because what exists under the sun has a purpose and not for 'evil' although in principle we see it that way. If we were to remove the veil of judgment from everything, everything would look different for what it is. For snakes are not evil because they bite, they bite because that is their nature. And if we know that, why do we judge it? Because of our belief system which is more subjective than objective.
Equanimity.
The middle ground for this is to see things as they are and not as we would like them to be, since death, diseases, economic problems and other things are inherent situations to human beings are universal because we all go through this, see life with objectivity is the result of learning to have a philosophy of acceptance because at the end of all is better to live accepting the truth than denying it.
Life is an accumulation of events that regardless of our beliefs and judgments, happen, so what to do?
Cover your eyes? Or look reality in the face and accept it without further ado. If you feel it is unfair, defend yourself, if you feel it is not, do nothing, flow. But live it without judgment. Accept that the main ingredient of life is how surprising and changeable it is. That's why attachment is a fixed shot at suffering. Whereas the acceptance of the present moment is the path that leads to the awakening of the present moment.
That there are incomprehensible situations where you naturally feel that you cannot understand is human, but like everything else, this too will pass and will leave a life lesson.
what exists is neither good nor bad, it is neutral.... Your decision is how you will live it.
