Sometimes we have choices.
We can have either this or that.
Which shall it be?
Here we have claimed both. lol
So we speed along in life, trying to find the correct answers to what we want and need for ourselves and for others.
Or do we stay in one place, racing along in our hearts and minds, but with very little forward progress being made it seems?
Yes, I know we need a little light. Maybe lots of light.
So let your light shine?
But, I also know if we are surrounded by clutter.
The shake off must first be made so that we can be seen more clearly.
The winds of change can be very strong and detrimental to our safety and well being.
So, to set caution aside and be a little more certain.
We cover and try to protect ourselves from the possible harm.
As we sometimes do in our hearts and minds.
We hide inside to feel more secure.
Who among us wants to be transparent and open, as we can see with the open road?
Is it better to be covered so that no one can see what is inside?
I like protection.
But, how would you or anyone ever get to know me?
I have many thoughts as I walk along in our neighborhood community.
Some of them I remember as I put all this together for you.
For you that may care. I need to be standing tall.
If you happen to be a little closer to the ground.
That is OK.
You can be seen more easily and clearly.
Finding and seeing you as you are means a lot to me and to others.
As I move along. I think I should say something.
But I am not going to say anything about rocks. lol
Not everything we see will be of the skyscraper variety.
Huge and tall, catching everyone's attention.
That is not necessary for me.
If you are pretty and bright.
I can love you just as much.
But, am I pretty and bright? lol
Life may not be as clear for us as we would like for it to be.
Even if we strain and stretch out as well as we can.
Sometimes it still isn't as clear as we would like for it to be.
But, we don't give up.
Life is much too valuable for all of us to just fade away.
Just around the next corner or bend in the roadway of life.
We get to see beauty, happiness, and love that we are seeking.
Do we need a song now? I will look for one.
Slow and easy.
