The steering repair is finished. He is ready to do battle with the weeds and tall grass.
It has been too long since the last cutting was stopped.
It was a good day today. We finished more than I would have thought.. There is a little more to do yet.
Then back to the tree trimming.
Let's take a look at some of the highlights of the day. This section is nearly finished.
Another strip along the road that had to completed. Some of the land has a steep grade.
There is some danger of overturning the tractor. Ugh
Next section nearly finished. We are rolling right along.
Should I mow these down? Oh, just let them stay. They are too pretty to cut down Francis.
I do watch. But sometimes. You know don't you? Sorry.
But, rejoice. Our friend the toad escaped the cutters. I saw him before they got to him. Here he is.
Yea for the toad. He survived.
I saw some rabbits too. But they hopped away. They don't trust the "iron horse." For good reason too. Ha
Doesn't the weeds ever stop?
Looking down at the "old homestead."
Looking down the lane. That would be our lane if we build a house on the hill.
A little more left for tomorrow. We should finish if nothing goes wrong.
Done for today. What a mess to clean up. Ugh
Friends. It is so satisfying to have done a little on the land. I look back at the end of the
day and wish I could have done more.
Look back with me. Isn't it beautiful?
I just love the lay of the land. It is so nice.
How could I just abandon the land and live a life of leisure?
Answer. I cannot. Neither will you be able to when you get a little land.
Even a good sized yard is a joy to look at when it is looking pretty.
Thank you for spending your time with me to enjoy some of the work that I have done.
I hope that you were as pleased as I was to post this for you.
Please add yours to Steemit as well. We will all get to know what you see and do.
Everyone adding from their part of our world. That is interesting.
