The midnight reset is a bit annoying. On android it works to just exit the post editor and go back in from the main-screen. It keeps the post content and enables the option to report for "yesterday", which brings the step count back in. tags activities and all that are lost but the post content stays.

They could really work on improving their app with all these beneficiary rewards!
