Today I did my HIIT running at the local walking trails. After I was done with the HIIT, I rested for five minutes, then I continued walking until it was dark. In total I ran/walked for a duration of 1h18m and a distance of 7.22 km. The temperature was 11°C, and it was sunny while the sun was still up.
Most of the photos in today’s post were meant to be used in yesterday’s post, but I started to write my report just before midnight, and when midnight struck I was booted out of the app and the step count reset to zero. So I wasn’t able to post my report.
When I came out of the house, I was greeted by a fluffy friend before I left for the trails.
I met another, much smaller, fluffy friend while walking on the trails.
Here in the province of New Brunswick, we have a mixed forest that is made up of a pretty even blend of leafy trees and evergreens.
Some stretches of the trail have lots of evergreens and it makes a very nice scent in the air. It always puts me in a good mood when I walk through those stretches.
In the next photo you can see a few different evergreens; there’s pine, spruce, fir, cedar, and tamarack. You can see that this stretch of trail is mostly covered in pine needles rather than leaves.
Well, folks, that’s my post for today.
Thanks for taking the time to read and look at the photos.
All photos were taken with my iPhone 6 and edited in Apple Photos on the Mac.
