Not far away from the ZOO, just over the bridge, is the Centennial Hall, which is a historic building constructed by M.Berg when the city was a part of the German Empire in 1911-1913, the building can be admired around the fountains that are hiding behind it.
When you are at the Centennial Hall you may as well walk by to the back and find the hidden Japanese Garden. With plenty of beautiful and strong smelling flowers to admire for all, and also flower dropbacks and beautiful scenery for those who want those selfies.
