I was editing some pictures for a client this morning and I realised that there are a lot of cool shots in this folder that I haven't shared before. They are from a trip I had a few years ago, at the island Paxos. Either you visit it with your private sailing boat or with a public ferry, it's beauty will astonish you and you would definitely want to return!
Paxi or Paxoi and Antipaxoi or Antipaxos is the smallest island group within the Ionian Islands. In Greek it is a plural form. The largest islands are Paxos and Antipaxos. The main town of Paxoi and the seat of the municipality is Gaios. In Greek mythology, Poseidon created the island by striking Corfu with his trident, so that he and his wife Amphitrite could have some peace and quiet.

I don't know if Poseidon had actually found some peace and quiet, as the mythology says, but I am sure that you will, if you ever spend some time there!
I was there for work, so my schedule was very tight but it didn't stopped me from appreciating the small settlements with the stylish renovated buildings, the thriving nature that covers every inch of the island or the truly mesmerising beaches and the most amazing sea I have ever seen!
Running all over the place, all day long, wasn't a piece of cake, but how can I complain when I am surrounded by such beauty. My only "complain" from all the years I've been travelling for the magazine is that I rarely had the time for a swim and the memory of some beaches still hurts!
But when the sun was setting I was grateful for on more working day in a brilliant scenery :)
All the pictures and the words are mine.
