I have taken better pictures ever since (at least I hope so) but this one always holds a special place in my heart. I took it in 2009, at my first assignment as a travel photographer for a magazine. I had no experience on that field, my knowledge on landscape photography were minimal and my editing skills, nonexistent. On top of that, I had to deliver pictures to illustrate a 64 pages issue and I was the only photographer on the island to do the job. I was so anxious and uncertain that I was up to the task. And then I took this shot and as I saw it on the camera's screen, it gave me all the confidence I needed to carry on and to believe that I can actually do it!
