In many countries the Easter is over but in Greece we are going to celebrate it next Sunday. Which means that we are on the third day of the Holy Week and the preparations for the weekend to come have already started!

The red flags hanging from the balconies of the houses in the old town, is a long tradition here in Nafplio. I am not sure when it first began but it should be a Venetian thing. Anyway it is giving the town a festive atmosphere and it is an undeniable sign that Easter is coming :)

For one more time we are living at a place that people on vacation are coming to spend their holidays and the next days will be the last major wave of Greek visitors till August. Then it would be mostly foreigners from all over the world making our small town an international gathering!

Usually locals are getting annoyed from the excess amount of tourists on the streets unless there are expecting to have a profit from them.

A friend reminded me recently the saying:

if you can't fight it, embrace it

and so we did. This summer we will try to jump from the first category (the annoyed locals), to the second (the ones that are expecting a profit).

That's right.

This is the first announcement that our workshop in Nafplio is open to the public and all the wonderful things that traisto@traisto is making are now in display and for sale :)

Of course I should make a proper post with the pictures of the new place and maybe one more with all the work that we have done the last months to put it together but for now I just wanted to put the word out and see who is reading till the last paragraph :)

Cheers from the sunny and warm Nafplio!

The camera that I used is a Canon EOS 850D with an EF-S 18-135mm lens attached. I edited the photographs in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic

All the pictures and the words are mine.
