I walked the dog today at the usual route in the countryside around the village. It is a scenery that I have repeatedly taken pictures of, almost in every possible way.

Not really. This is only what I think till the next time comes and I see/shoot something different. And today it was one of those times, since I had a brand new concept in mind :)
Low-key photography is a genre of photography consisting of shooting dark-colored scenes by lowering or dimming the "key" or front light illuminating the scene (hence Low-key), and emphasizing natural[1] or artificial light[2] only on specific areas in the frame.[3] This photographic style is usually used to create a mysterious atmosphere, that only suggests various shapes, often graphic, letting the viewer experience the photograph through subjective interpretation and often implies painting objects or the human body with black non-toxic dyes or pigments.

Why low key and why today?
Well the reason is that 
And I think that the result does me justice. No need for fancy lighting equipment or sophisticated set ups. Just a white flower against a dark background will do the trick! Note that all those pictures are taken outside, in noon, without moving any plant from the spot that it grows!
I could have fooled me :)
And when I felt confident enough that I had the desired result, I let the rules go and enjoyed the awakening nature and the first signs of spring!
I often wonder when I take pictures during the dog's walk if he enjoys the extra time or if he just gets bored waiting for me to take all those pictures. An activity totally incomprehensible to him since it doesn't include neither sniffing nor licking :)
