Happy New Month / April 2022

Happy new month hivers of the world!

Today I am spending my day strictly indoors. It is one of those dreadful days with thundery south wind, sand from Africa on the air and broken branches falling from the trees! You don't want to be outside in a day like this and even inside it is not so pleasant, with the continuous roaring of the wind and the creaking windows. But I have a thing, to make at least one new picture every first of the month and there is also a contest that I really want to take part. So indoors shooting today on the miniature forrest of our microgreens tray! A scenery of fantasy to deliver my wishes for the new month :)

The contest I mentioned is hosted by @derangedvisions and the theme this week is World of Color. A rather tricky theme that I was thinking the whole week and I couldn't decide how to visualise it. The cover picture of the announcement post and the amazing pictures from the really cool Holi Festival in Utah, that Wes (@derangedvisions) has been sharing all week, is not making it any easier. Actually his pictures are so great and on to the theme that everything I was thinking of, just wasn't enough. But a contest is not only to try to get the best possible image, it is also the fun of the game and a way of appreciation to the people behind it. So I got over my doubts and here I am with my microgreens shots. Anyway my world is indeed mostly green, maybe with a hint of red here and there and warm yellow shades! It is the world I entered when I gave up the urban lifestyle and it is good enough for me :)
