I wonder sometimes if there will be a point in my life that I'll be able to say that I have traveled as much as I wanted and I don't want to move any more. If I could ever say something like that knowing that it is not possible to travel everywhere and that there are many many people that have traveled a lot more than myself (and a lot more that have traveled much less too).
Is it a matter of comparison, is there a minimum wandering that we have to do to satisfy our soul or is it a never ending process and we will always be looking for something new to stimulate our senses?
It is a rather philosophical question. I mean there is no actual reason to be answered in the first place. Each one of us travels as much as he/she wants, can or have to, without having figure out a global "traveling rule". It is one of the things that cross my mind though, for no apparent reason!
In the pictures you can see the town of Kozani, in Greece. It is one of the many places that I have visited during my term as a photographer for a travel magazine. But this is not a travel post.

The sign is in Greek, as their site, that you can find here, but the bottom line is that with only 3 euro you can see the folk exhibition with representations of the old way of living and the old professions , the natural history exhibition, the archeological and the historical exhibition, as well as a stamp collection and a radio collection!
Good deal, isn't it?
I am sharing a few pictures from the folk section which is the most impressive one. Each "installation" is a separate room, built to portray a different activity. There are rooms of a typical house, a barber shop, a cobbler shop, even a photographer with a gigantic camera :)
And if you are hungry, there are plenty and diverse choices for you. From a traditional round sesame bread that you can take from a street vendor, to the Greek version for tapas or a fancy restaurant, they are all there.
But there are even more things to see and enjoy! Like the cartography exhibition that is housed in a beautiful old mansion to the municipal library that has some pretty old and interesting books to offer (also in Greek).
Of course going from one sight to the other you have to walk and inevitably see a part of the town :)
