Ayyyyo Steemit fam!
This is Danny, introduced to this platform by the team over at @NanoCheeZe ! I'm wild new at understanding how this platform works, but excited to understand it more & help it grow (and low-key get my thoughts out but also learn as much as I can while doing so :D). I see myself as having two very distinct personalities, one that's creative & predictably unpredictable, and the other very business professional with structure & commitment. If my words can help you paint a picture of who I am professionally, I just recently left Red Bull North America this past February 2017 to pursue my own direction in life. I spent over 7 years within the company, initially starting in sales, holding positions within sales as an Account Sales Manager, Route Sales Specialist, to Key Account Manager then to Field Marketing Specialist.
After I left, I took time to travel, in Baja Mexico to surf, to Southern California to test drive cars on the Turo app, to NYC spending time with very close friends, to driving across the country back to where I live in Oregon. The purpose of me leaving was to be able to get involved in everything I wanted to, not HAD to hahaha (I'm sure more everyone can understand that perspective), and I did just that. After traveling, I was able to get ingrained even deeper in the underground creative community in Oregon, and become the Creative Director for this organization my good friend started called THE COLLAB (find it here www.thecollabpdx.com). It's been incredible because I've been able to utilize my professional skillset that I've developed over the years at Red Bull to help give that organization the platform a foundation to grow in an effective way. I'm proud of that, and even more proud of my friend Quâz (here on Soundcloud https://soundcloud.com/quazamir) for starting the platform & giving the city the best chance to allow others to grow with their creative skillset! AHHH! Makes me so happy to be a part of that!
I've also come along with @NanoCheeZe to assist in their marketing efforts to expand the platform & tap into my encyclopedia of marketing expertise to bring that idea to the next level! I just started working on getting some initial ideas down, but if any of you have any comments or recommendations that you think might assist in bringing the idea into a larger audience, I'm all ear s! hahaa!
I also have my hands in helping to grow distribution & sales of this coffee company, Kainos Coffee (website is https://www.kainoscoffeepdx.com) locally in Portland, OR, with the goal to have their coffee available for purchase at at least one national grocery chain & one on-demand delivery service. Some lofty goals, but their story & packaging strike a cord in me and a lot of people here in the city. They haven't had the capacity to try and gain distribution, so I'm coming in at a time where they've need it bad, and I love the challenge & ability to watch them grow.
Outside of all that professional BS, I absolutely love love LOVE pushing the boundaries of what I have come to "accept" in society, from being a man in society today, to being a victim of sexual violence, to allowing myself to be suppressed from my life experience, to now being in a place of understanding & a creative steam utilizing that energy to take the path I want, nothing else . Very abstract, but with the space to ask ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the questions you'd like if you're curious.
Ok, well that should give the fam a foundation of who I am, but just the tip
